Q-switch

 

Pulsed laser systems can be achieved with active or passive Q-switching. There are the following possibilities to realize such systems: While actively Q-switched systems consist of acousto-optical or electro-optical modulators, passively Q-switched systems use saturable absorbers such as Cr:YAG , (for lasers with approx. 1 µm wavelength). The most common Q-switched lasers in this range are Nd:YAG , Nd:YVO4 and Nd:YLF . For longer wavelengths, Er:YAG and Tu doped crystals are represented. In addition to the single-crystal Cr:YAG absorber, IMPEX also offers integrated variants as bonded crystals.

Besides single crystal Cr:YAG-Absorber bietet IMPEX auch integrierte Varianten als bonded crystals .
