The manufacturing processes in the technology field of laser material processing include cutting and joining processes in micro and macro technology as well as surface processes such as marking, structuring or laser polishing.
IMPEX HighTech GmbH offers a wide range of laser systems. This includes both passive and active Q-switched systems. Our laser systems cover a spectral range from UV at 266nm to IR at 2.94µm. The focus of our laser department is on compact diode-pumped systems based on our monolithic laser crystals, which are manufactured using diffusion bonding. This adhesive-free method makes cavities with very low internal losses possible. By varying various parameters such as the length, the initial transmission or the output coupling factor, it is possible to realise customer-specific individual laser specifications. Impex HighTech GmbH offers both standard versions and customised laser systems.
IMPEX has succeeded in developing a unique Er:YAG laser system with active Q-switching, which makes it possible to generate high-energy pulses at 2.94µm in the two-digit ns range. This technology thus creates new application possibilities in both medicine and industry.
