Chromium-Thulium-Holmium doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet
Material
CTH:YAG
Chromium-Thulium-Holmium doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (CTH:YAG) is a crystal which lasers at 2080nm wavelength. This highly efficient crystal can be either flash-lamp or diode pumped and has applications in meteorological and military fields. Besides due to its high optical quality, low scattering losses and high efficiency CTH:YAG laser crystals are widely used in medical fields like dentistry, therapeutic and surgery.
